Random thoughts

We've started looking at names. Sorry not saying what were are choosing until we know the gender! I will say the boy's name is set in stone. And we are not taking suggestions either, lol. I always laughed about people who use the same letters for all thier kids names (or the whole family) but since Ally and I both start with an "A" I figured what the heck, lets toss another "J" in the mix. Thankfully we both like names that are not in common usage. Ally's full name was barely in the top 100, we actually like names that are a bit simple and can be easily spelled.

I've also been thinking about the costs of my treatment and how lucky we are that the insurance covers so much. Average cost of infertility treatments is $15,000 and that is on the low end and that is also for every cycle of treatment (start of one menstrual cycle to the start of the next menstrual cycle). So far our insurance has covered all doctors visits, lab work and ultrasounds. So roughly around $5, 000. Hormone injection kits are $6,000, all I had to pay was a $9.00 copay. HCG injection shot about $200, once again a $9.00 copay. Progesterone supplements (I had to have 3 rounds of these) they are about $100 for a 30 day supply yet another $9.00 each. Over the counter prenatals $13 dollars. So all total to get pregnant this time around we have spent $58.
